The Ambassador Program is the HBA’s flagship global corporate initiative for leadership development. Serving as a resource for all levels of HBA Corporate Partners* (except Accelerator and Elevate-level partnerships), it offers leadership immersion to address gaps in current professional development opportunities. The program transcends existing ERGs, aiming to elevate women to influential decision-making roles.
The program facilitates meaningful connections and collaboration for HBA’s Corporate Partners to:
- Exchange and implement best practices on equity and inclusion
- Build a sense of community and strengthen professional networks among participants, enhancing HBA's reach both internally within organizations and externally across industries
- Inspire executives to take active roles as allies and sponsors, reinforcing their dedication to advancing equity and inclusion
- Maximize global reach and impact by expanding our proven programs to regions where your workforce seeks enhanced leadership development and professional growth opportunities

How It Works
The HBA Ambassador Program is a 12-month, self-directed leadership development initiative for 15-30 emerging leaders who are HBA members. Integrated seamlessly into the workday—whether in-office or virtual—the program is designed to accelerate participants' career growth. Through the guidance and support of the HBA and HBA-trained volunteer Advisors, the "Ambassadors" will focus on:
- Setting and achieving individual development goals to prepare for the next step in their career progressions
- Collaborating on group initiatives that enable Ambassadors to explore their leadership potential in innovative ways, delivering positive impacts and benefits throughout the organization
This structure ensures participants gain valuable leadership experience while contributing meaningfully to their workplace.
