Welcome to 2024! I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as your HBA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter President. Our chapter’s vision and mission: to be the premier professional organization serving women in the life sciences, healthcare, and technology industries in the San Francisco Bay Area in order to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.

We are also privileged to work alongside an esteemed Advisory Board of executive men and women from diverse backgrounds, providing invaluable guidance and support. Our dedicated committee members span across Programming, Membership, Marketing, Mentorship, and Corporate Relations, making our chapter a vibrant and inclusive community.
Celebrating Our 2023 & 2024 Achievements
The past 12 months have been a phenomenal time for the SF Bay Area chapter. Since we installed a fully operational chapter board in July 2023, we’ve:
- Re-established the Chapter Advisory Board of executive leaders
- Executed 27 programs
- Generated over $4,000 in revenue
- Engaged over 200+ HBA members
- Added over 100 new members
- Added 4 new corporate partners including Arcellx, BioMarin, Cytokinetics and Day One BioPharmaceuticals
- Established mentoring circles, pairing mentors and mentees for a year of growth and development.
Looking Forward to the Rest of 2024 and Beyond
We are bursting with enthusiasm for the year ahead! Our team is working diligently with members, partners, and advisors to curate programs that are both valuable and relevant. From educational sessions to unique networking opportunities, we've got something for everyone. Expect to see:
- An novel AI in Healthcare event taking place in Menlo Park
- Invaluable virtual and in-person sessions with career coaches
- Time to connect at our fun social networking events all over the Bay Area
- A continuation of our esteemed Mentorship program, where we hope to recruit amazing mentors and mentees
- More collaborations with local healthcare organizations, fostering a stronger community.
