Exciting Times Ahead for the HBA: Accelerating Transformational Leadership

In January, HBA’s newly elected Chair of the Board, Carol Montadon and I, alongside our dedicated HBA Global Board and Executive Office staff, convened in San Francisco to discuss and plan for the future of the HBA. This hard-working group truly understands the business imperative of not just talking about change, but actively being the catalyst for it. Our shared focus at this meeting was how the HBA can create lasting impact, foster an inclusive community, and ensure that women from all walks of life can thrive in the healthcare ecosystem. 

We are very focused on how we can bring more VALUE to the women and partners we serve around the world.

The HBA’s expansion into new locations around the world is part of a multiyear strategy to do more, be more, and show up more for women everywhere. Our mentorship programs, including the transformative HOPE program for mid to senior level women and our Ambassador Program, are designed to uplift and support – we are committed to making these opportunities accessible to even more women worldwide. All of these efforts meet a critical need of the HBA’s Corporate Partners to keep their workforce pipeline filled with the most capable and well-prepared talent. 

Our commitment has never been stronger in championing the advancement and presence of women, and especially women of color, across the healthcare ecosystem.
