In Recognition of International Equal Pay Day

As the HBA continues to advocate for equity in the workplace and for women’s health, we leverage awareness opportunities like today’s International Equal Pay Day to draw attention to the significant gaps that continue to be pervasive in the lives of women working around the globe. By speaking up and advocating for change, we are helping to fuel and propel forward a movement that ultimately will help drive results and impact. International Equal Pay Day was established by the UN General Assembly to call attention to deep concerns over slow progress in women's economic empowerment, the undervaluing of work traditionally held by women, and the difficulties in tackling pay inequality.
