HBA Paris Welcomes Anne Rhea as Vice President
HBA Paris is pleased to welcome Anne Rhea as the Vice President. Anne brings a wealth of knowledge, ideas, and enthusiasm to her position. Committed to advancing the HBA’s purpose to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare, Anne is dedicated to ensuring the chapter exceeds its strategic objectives.
HBA Paris is pleased to welcome Anne Rhea as the Vice President. Anne brings a wealth of knowledge, ideas, and enthusiasm to her position. Committed to advancing the HBA’s purpose to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare, Anne is dedicated to ensuring the chapter exceeds its strategic objectives.
Anne joined HBA Paris in September 2019 and participated in the HBA Mentoring Program in 2020. Previously serving as a deputy volunteer for the HBA Paris programming team, she was instrumental in the organizing of numerous educational events, including taking the lead on the D&I series event.
She has been a key member of the programming team for the past two years, assisting them with a number of events and working diligently with them to transition to a virtual environment during the difficult pandemic months. Anne received the prestigious HBA Spark award in 2021 for her leadership in organizing a discussion-based event focused on Diversity and Inclusion for senior executives at top pharmaceutical companies.
In her new role, Anne will be the primary liaison with the newly appointed HBA Paris President, driving growth initiatives within the chapter as well as cultivating relationships with local healthcare organizations and corporate partners. She will also help to manage engagement and programming with the HBA Paris Board, including recruitment of new advisors, strategic planning, and assisting to lead educational and networking events.

I am excited to be a part of leading the charge for change with HBA Paris as we strive to raise awareness and achieve gender equality through further collaboration with healthcare organizations in France."
Anne has been a Director with TransPerfect Life Sciences for nine years. At TransPerfect Life Sciences, she oversees many top pharmaceutical companies and works daily to help bring products to the market faster for her clients. Born and raised in the USA, she started her professional career with TransPerfect out of their headquarters in New York City. After two years in New York, TransPerfect saw the need for local support for one of her top pharmaceutical clients and Anne transferred to the Paris office. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in management and French from Siena College. As of 2021, Anne holds French citizenship and lives in Paris.
