Shirin Hasan Named HBA Chicago-Northern Suburbs July 2021 Volunteer of the Month
HBA Chicago-Northern Suburbs is Pleased to Announce our July 2021 Volunteer of the Month is Shirin Hasan
When asked to share her experience as an HBA volunteer, Shirin told us: 
“I am honored to be recognized as the volunteer of the month for HBA Chicago-Northern Suburbs. The HBA offers a great networking platform for women from all career stages in the healthcare sector. It was my first year at the HBA, and I was fortunate to get a chance to volunteer and lead the August event ‘Lessons Learned from the Pandemic’ along with Christine Shumard-Sauer, Laura Comilla, and Debbie Williams. It was an excellent learning experience to work with the leaders from some of the top pharma companies. I appreciate the amount of time they invested during the preparatory stages of this event, and it was great to hear about their professional and personal experiences in coping with the pandemic. I also learned some of the new technological features for conducting online events, like the use of concept board and zoom features to manage a large number of people in meetings. I would love to remain a part of this association and lead more events in the future.”
