Principal at Rigby Consulting, LLC named 2013 Honorable Mentor

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) announced, during its annual Women of the Year event, Kevin Rigby, of Rigby Consulting as its 2013 Honorable Mentor.

The HBA created the Honorable Mentor award in 2001 to annually recognize an individual who demonstrates long-term advocacy for current and future women leaders. Recipients exhibit personal dedication to developing, mentoring and promoting women in the industry, and are supportive of the HBA’s core purpose to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.

After receiving the award, Kevin stated, “This is such an incredible honor and it is humbling to be recognized for something that means so much to me. I am truly passionate about the power of mentoring, connecting and supporting one another. It is so inspiring to help people develop, grow and achieve their dreams. Receiving this prestigious award offers me the opportunity to encourage others to share their wisdom and make mentoring part of who we are and how we work.”

Kevin leads Rigby Consulting, LLC., providing strategic solutions to corporations, trade associations, non-profit and patient advocacy groups.  Kevin is the former U.S. country head of public affairs for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp.  While at Novartis, Nov. 2012 to June 2015, Kevin led the public affairs function across all Novartis U.S. divisions, focused on government interactions and corporate participation in the public policy arena at the federal and state levels. Responsible for Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp.'s philanthropic contributions; programs to assist the uninsured and under-insured; interactions with state elected officials, patient groups, trade associations, and charities.
