The HBA Global Mentoring Program brings together professionals from across the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries to share insights, accelerate growth, and shape the future of the field: one mentoring relationship at a time.
About the Program
This global cross-industry initiative pairs rising professionals with experienced leaders committed to advancing talent, innovation, and patient outcomes. The mentee-driven model empowers participants to set goals, lead conversations, and define their focus areas, while mentors offer guidance and perspective. Each relationship is tailored to the mentee’s unique career path. Throughout the program, participants engage in structured conversations on leadership, strategic goal-setting, and personal development, gaining fresh insights into career navigation, workplace challenges, and opportunities in healthcare.

Program Logistics
US-based programs are circle-based, meaning 2-4 mentees are paired with 2 mentors. This allows for peer-based learning, in addition to the traditional form of mentorship from more experienced leaders.
International programs (EMEA, Canada, Latin America, Asia Pacific) are typically one-to-one mentoring. This allows for a highly personalized journey.
**NEW THIS YEAR: All participants across the globe will be invited to Global Networking Sessions, where the power of expanding your network will be exemplified in real time.
All HBA Mentoring Program participants (Mentees, Mentors, and Connectors) must be HBA members. This program is open to participants from all genders and is applicable to all career stages.
Timeline
Jan: Registration closes
Feb/March: The HBA matches mentors, mentees, and groups based on diverse backgrounds, functional areas, and industries.
March/April: Official program kickoff (matches and circles meet twice monthly from now to program conclusion).
May: Virtual educational event (Career Conversations)
June: Global networking session.
July: Global networking session.
August: Mentors-Only Meet-Up
September: Global networking session.
October/November: Program conclusion with celebration and reflections.
