2014: Shideh Sedgh Bina
In a unique 25th anniversary celebration of the HBA’s Woman of the Year (WOTY) event, the HBA announced three visionary women across the healthcare spectrum as the 2014 HBA Women of the Year. Together, Shideh Sedgh Bina, Annalisa Jenkins, MBBS, MRCP and Patricia A. Maryland, Dr.PH, accepted the award.
“2014 marks a year of celebration for the HBA. Recognizing our 35th year as the industry’s premier organization committed to the advancement of women in healthcare worldwide and celebrating 25 years of remarkable women leaders. It was important to mark these momentous milestones in a distinctive way” commented Jeanne Zucker, HBA chair emeritus. “We are excited to mark our WOTY silver anniversary with three distinguished leaders representing life sciences, care delivery, and management services, showcasing the diversity in healthcare and HBA’s commitment to women throughout the full-service continuum of healthcare.”
