Meet Dr. Loddie Foose: The 2026 HBA STAR

Throughout her career, Dr. Loddie Foose has expanded how leaders connect across the global health and life sciences industry. Through her visionary leadership, she has created new opportunities for leaders to step into expanded roles, developed thriving professional communities, and helped extend the global reach of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA).

In recognition of her remarkable vision and impact, the HBA has named Loddie the recipient of the 2026 Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition (STAR). This award honors one tenured volunteer Member Leader each year who has made lasting contributions that strategically transform the association. It further celebrates those who drive growth, elevate the HBA’s stature, and strengthen its global footprint.

"The HBA STAR Award is a powerful reminder to me that lasting global impact is never the work of one person, but of many people coming together in service of a shared mission,” said Dr. Foose. “I am deeply grateful to the HBA for this honor and see it as an opportunity to further champion representative leadership and access in ways that strengthen our collective future."

As founder and Global Chair of the Women in Healthcare (WIH) Give Back Affinity Group, Dr. Foose built one of the HBA’s fastest-growing member networks, engaging nearly 200 participants annually and connecting an online community of nearly 2,000 LinkedIn supporters. As Global Lead of the HBA’s Geographic Expansion Team, she contributed to the launch of 21 new global branches, developed practical leadership toolkits and success metrics, and created a global forum for collaboration and learning.

"Building these HBA communities has reinforced the power of connection and collaboration,” said Dr. Foose. “When we empower leaders with the right tools and opportunities, they don’t just grow individually. They lift their teams, their organizations, and the entire global healthcare community."

A former multinational healthcare executive and Boston Consulting Group consultant, Dr. Foose has leveraged more than two decades of experience across strategy, innovation, commercialization, and organizational transformation. Her work connects enterprise strategy, leadership development, and philanthropy into a single ecosystem designed to expand both success and social impact. She is the CEO of the management consulting firm DocDocFoose, Founder of the transformational leadership community Know Your Worth, and serves as President of The Imagine Fund. She holds a PhD in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley and completed postdoctoral studies at Caltech (hence the name ‘DocDocFoose’).

This event convenes forward-thinking executives, innovators, and change-makers for meaningful dialogue around the ideas, strategies, and solutions shaping the future of health and life sciences.
