A Thriving Community of Change-Makers: HBA SF Bay Area Reflects, Renews, and Reignites in 2025

To our vibrant HBA San Francisco Bay Area community, 

For nearly 50 years, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association has championed the advancement and impact of women in healthcare — long before today’s buzzwords and beyond shifting corporate priorities. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m honored and inspired to continue that legacy in 2025, leading a chapter committed to building an inclusive, connected, and empowering community for everyone. 

As we reach the midpoint of 2025, I’m proud to reflect on the incredible momentum we’ve built together so far this year and to share a look ahead at the opportunities still to come.

It’s a privilege to introduce this year’s passionate, driven Board — a team deeply committed to advancing our mission and creating meaningful experiences for our members:

We’re also grateful for our Chapter Advisory Board, a collective of experienced executive leaders whose insight and guidance help shape our strategy. And behind the scenes, our dedicated committee member leaders across Programming, Membership, Marketing, Mentorship, and Corporate Relations are the heart of our chapter’s success. 

Reflecting on Our Progress to Date 

The past year — and the first half of 2025 — have been a testament to the power of community and collaboration. Together, we:

  • Hosted 50+ impactful programs covering leadership development, healthcare innovation, and personal growth
  • Welcomed 170+ new members into our growing network
  • Established partnerships with four new corporate partners
  • Expanded our Mentoring program, offering career support and meaningful connection
  • Led conversations on AI in Healthcare, career development, and inclusive leadership
  • Created intentional spaces for authentic relationship-building and allyship

As we move through the second half of the year, we’re excited to continue what HBA has done best for nearly 50 years: creating meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and leadership. Here’s what you can look forward to in the months ahead:
