Welcome to HBA Phoenix

Hi HBA Phoenix Members, 

It is pleasure to be your 2024/2025 Chapter President, working together with many amazing women in our community that share our core purpose of furthering the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare. 

A little about HBA Phoenix. This is our 5th year as a chapter, and we have more than 120 members and growing. In the past 12 months your board has really ramped up the number of live events including: 

  • Networking Happy Hours
  • Café Conversations
  • Educational Events and Series
  • Supper Clubs
  • Holiday Member Appreciation Party 

I’d like to share a few highlights. In the last year we:

  • Started the tradition of a yearly review of national and local healthcare trends, hosted by Darwin Research Group. 
  • We’ve had influential speakers like Dr. Heather Carter former State Senator give us hands on training to rewire habits that drive that “always busy” feeling. 
  • Andrea Kretzmann, Senior Marketing Strategist, blew members away with her Personal Branding and Interview Readiness workshops.

But we aren’t done there, this team has big plans, we want each of you to have meaningful connections within your chapter and beyond. 

HBA events are made possible by teams of volunteers who come together, share the vision of achieving gender parity in leadership positions across our industries. I am so grateful for the leaders that have volunteered to come on this journey with me and be of service to you all.
