Dear members and friends of the HBA New England region,
Happy summer! I hope you all have been able to take some time away to enjoy downtime with friends and family. I’m excited to share a few updates with you happening across the HBA New England region:
Spotlight on Volunteers
I am grateful for our team of volunteers who work diligently to bring great experiences to our members. We recently held an event to recognize a few volunteers who have gone above and beyond. Please join me in applauding Sarah Dykstra, Kimya Harris, Kat Long, Becca Nock, Karen Norton, and Saima Siddiqi!
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with HBA New England is a rewarding experience with a variety of roles and time commitments. From my own personal experience, there is nothing like working with a group of engaging, collaborative, and supportive women focused on bringing valuable programming experiences to our local members. I started my volunteer journey in a market research capacity and moved along through increasing responsibilities to my current role as Regional Chair. With all that said, we have a few openings if you are interested in getting involved! More positions will be opening this fall as we prepare our teams for 2024. If you want to gain experience in leading a team, want to try your hand working in a different functional area, or just generally want to give back to the HBA, we have opportunities for you! Additionally, the early-bird registration deadline for the 2023 HBA Annual Conference is 31 August! Register now to save $800/€750 and then join us in Chicago from 6-8 November to connect and engage with a like-minded network of visionary leaders intent on paving the path toward a better future for all. Last year's event had 840 attendees onsite representing more than 100 companies from over 12 different countries! Don’t miss out! Thank you all for your continued support and engagement.
