Announcing the 2023 HBA New York Chapter Board

We are excited to announce the members of the 2023 HBA New York Chapter Board:

Pollard President: Nicole A. Pollard 
Nicole is a strategic business development leader with a passion for life science, technology, and clinical research. As President, she will champion the chapter's mission to reignite and engage our members. Previously, Nicole was HBA New York's Director at Large of Membership and Volunteer Engagement and supported membership development at Bayer and Medidata.

Arthur-Mensah Vice President: Bridgette Arthur-Mensah 
Bridgette is a leader who empowers transformational change. With a 20+ year career that spans multiple industries, Bridgette now owns a consulting practice (“B Arthur-Mensah Consulting”) that provides tech strategy and management services. As Vice President of HBA New York, Bridgette collaborates with the Chapter Board to promote health equity and grow membership with the goal of developing the next generation of healthcare leaders.

GeltserOperations Director: Katya Geltser 
Katya joined West Monroe's Healthcare and Life Science practice as a Senior Manager in 2021 and helps life science firms identify and implement transformational initiatives with a particular focus on helping clients on their digital maturity journey. As the chapter’s Operations Director, Katya enjoys bringing her passion for mentorship and leadership development to her role on the HBA New York Chapter Board.

BanerjeeDirector at Large, Membership and Volunteer Engagement: Raca Banerjee 
Raca has nine years of experience in the healthcare industry and is currently a Senior Brand Manager at Pfizer. Raca began her HBA journey as a volunteer for the HBA New York Membership and Volunteer Engagement Committee, where she worked to drive new member recruitment, support event outreach strategies, coordinate lunch and learns, and brainstorm new ideas for volunteer engagement. Raca is passionate about health equity, driving gender parity in healthcare leadership, and creating an impact in her local community through volunteering.

OjekunleDirector at Large, Programming: Ebun Ojekunle 
Ebun is an Analytical Scientist at Pfizer, where she has contributed to several projects that support nonclinical studies. At Pfizer, she is an active member of the women’s group and the black community. She is passionate about diversity, health equity, and women in science. Ebun has been a member of the HBA since 2020.

BasuDirector at Large, Marketing and Communications: Rupsa Basu 
Rupsa has more than 12 years of experience in leading research and development from concept to manufacturing. She is currently the Lead Scientist at Humane Genomics, leading transformative strategies by designing next-generation precision cancer virotherapy to combat pediatric cancers. Rupsa is passionate about expanding communications and building relationships among women leaders in the industry.
