HBA Houston Celebrates and Recognizes All Our Volunteers

In a year where so many demands have been placed on our time and when our days are so drastically divided, HBA Houston is grateful for the selfless contributions of all our current and new volunteers. It is through their gift of time and dedication, that even in a turbulent year, HBA Houston stands strong and continues its growth.

Although we paused on live events last year, HBA Houston, through the efforts of our volunteers continued to bring new and exciting virtual programming to all its members. From roundtable discussions with healthcare industry leaders, to fun networking and educational events, to panel discussions with senior executives from the Texas Medical Center, our volunteers continue to be instrumental in creating and curating quality programming for all HBA members.

The dedication and work required to bring these events to fruition involve volunteers at every level: event leads to organize the events, speakers, moderators, and panelist giving of their time and expertise, and a slew of behind-the-scenes volunteers to prepare, post, and promote these events...just to name few.

Volunteers are instrumental in the health of every organization across every chapter and the HBA offers multiple volunteer opportunities to fit every career at every level. Whether you choose to organize and lead an event, volunteer for a project, become a mentor, or help shape the organization by joining a regional or chapter board, the level of engagement is up to you. To find out more about how you can volunteer with HBA Houston click here.

To all HBA Houston volunteers – We recognize and appreciate all who lend their time, talent, and voice to make a difference and further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare. HBA Houston would not be possible without the contributions of volunteers like you.
