As digital innovations continue to accelerate, organizations must ensure their workforce is equipped with the leadership, capabilities, and support needed to adapt, innovate, and thrive.
The Powering the Future Workforce survey examines how healthcare and life sciences organizations are experiencing the impact of artificial intelligence, automation, data-enabled tools, and other digital innovations, and how those changes are influencing leadership, workforce readiness, and organizational performance. It explores the leadership behaviors, workforce supports, and future-ready capabilities needed to help employees thrive in an AI-enabled, digitally driven future.
Building on the HBA Think Tank's ongoing research into the future of work, this study moves beyond technology adoption to examine the human and organizational dimensions of digital innovation. It explores how organizations are preparing their workforce for change, supporting employees through evolving ways of working, and developing the capabilities needed to drive innovation, resilience, and long-term organizational success across healthcare, life sciences, and biopharma.

This global study is open to professionals across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. Whether you work in clinical care, research, manufacturing, operations, technology, administration, or executive leadership, your perspective is critical to helping us understand how digital innovations are reshaping work. Your insights will help illuminate how organizations are navigating digital transformation and what employees need to thrive in an AI-enabled, digitally driven future.

The insights gathered will help identify the leadership behaviors, workforce supports, and future-ready capabilities needed to help employees adapt and thrive as technology changes how work is performed. All responses will remain confidential and will contribute to data-driven recommendations that strengthen workforce readiness and organizational performance.

As a thank you for your time and insights, everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a raffle to win one of three $50 Amazon gift cards. Participation in the raffle is optional and not required to complete the survey. If you would like to enter the raffle without completing the survey, please contact thinktank@hbanet.org.

This raffle is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws governing nonprofit organizations and is organized by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit association.
- No Purchase Necessary: No payment or purchase is required to enter or win. Completing the survey is not required for raffle entry. Individuals may enter the raffle by emailing [thinktank@hbanet.org] with their full name, email address, and the subject line "HBA Think Tank Survey Raffle Entry."
- Eligibility: The raffle is open to legal residents worldwide, aged 18 or older, except where prohibited by local laws. Employees of the HBA and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
- Entry Details: Participants can enter by completing the survey or following the alternative entry method outlined above. Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Prize Information: Three winners will each receive a $50 Amazon gift card. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- Winner Notification: Winners will be selected randomly and notified via the email provided. If a winner does not respond within 7 business days, an alternate winner may be selected.
