Call for Coaches

Overview of the Coaching Program
Each year, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) offers the opportunity for attendees to activate a professional goal by digging into their strengths, identifying opportunities, and developing their path with a dedicated executive coach. Attendees can register for a complimentary 30-minute coaching session and choose from a variety of expert coaches who will provide support that is uniquely suited to their needs. Their selected coach will connect with them before the conference so that their coaching session will be focused and productive.

Examples of Topics Attendees Can Pursue with Coach
Attendees get to determine what they want to discuss with their coach. Following are some ideas to help brainstorm topics:

• Positioning yourself for advancement opportunities
• Networking effectively
• Positioning yourself for high-profile projects
• Identifying a sponsor
• Gaining visibility as a thought-leader in your area of expertise
• Preparing for a job search (e.g., resume review, interview preparation)
• Transitioning to a different field within the industry

Call for Coaches
The HBA is looking for 22 executive coaches to provide 30-minute coaching sessions for conference attendees. In addition to providing a valuable service to conference attendees, these coaching sessions will also provide each coach with an opportunity to showcase the benefits of coaching and gain visibility among potential clients.

Conference attendees will be able to view bios of all coaches on the conference website and then select a coach who seems to be the best fit for whatever issue they would like to discuss. Coaches will then connect with each attendee prior to the conference to set up expectations for their sessions during the conference.
Each coach will have up to ten 30-minute coaching sessions during the conference at the following times:

• Monday, 23 September 2024
  • 1:00 PM
  • 1:40 PM
  • 2:20 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 3:40 PM
• Tuesday, 24 September 2024
  • 11:45 AM
  • 12:45 PM
  • 3:15 PM
• Wednesday, 25 September 2024
  • 11:45 AM
  • 12:45 PM

As part of the agreement between HBA and each coach, the HBA will provide the following:

• One complimentary registration for Annual Conference ($1,875 value)
• Recognition on Annual Conference website
• Recognition on walk-in slides during mainstage sessions

To be considered for this opportunity, coaches must submit an application that provides the following information:

• Name, Title, and Company
• Coaching credentials
• 150-word bio
• Area(s) of coaching expertise
• High resolution headshot
• At least one reference (name/email)
• Links to websites, videos, testimonials, etc.
