Advancement. Commitment. Engagement.

HBA Names AstraZeneca and Viseven as 2025 ACE Award Winners

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) has announced AstraZeneca and Viseven as recipients of its 2025 Advancement, Commitment, and Engagement (ACE) Awards, recognizing innovative programs that transform workforce development in healthcare.

AstraZeneca earned the ACE Award for its Young Health Programme (YHP), a 15-year global initiative tackling non-communicable diseases while fostering purpose-driven leadership. The program has reached over 20 million young people in more than 40 countries and engaged 20,000 employees in nearly 100,000 hours of volunteer service.

Viseven received the ACE Aspire Award for its Expert Communities and Unicorns Recognition Program, launched in 2024 to strengthen internal collaboration, professional growth, and peer recognition. Over 700 employees have participated so far, building a scalable culture of innovation and appreciation.

Both companies will be honored at the 2025 HBA Annual Conference in Las Vegas from 29 September to 1 October.

  • Award criteria include measurable results, business performance, stewardship, execution, and sustainability.
  • For an additional fee, companies may opt to hold a consultative debrief with a member of the judging panel after judging is completed.

ACE Award winning initiatives are celebrated and honored at the HBA’s signature Annual Conference in front of an audience of nearly 1,000 industry leaders. Winners also receive:

  • Recognition as thought-leaders before the HBA’s global community of 100,000+
  • Prominent visibility in trade and mainstream media
  • Distinction as an organization committed to fostering leadership development across all talent levels

The HBA congratulates all previous award-winning initiatives for their extraordinary impact.
