HBA Fairfield County recognizes Victoria Gamerman as Honored Volunteer

HBA Fairfield County would like to spotlight Victoria Gamerman, PhD and her contributions not only to our local HBA chapter but also to the advancement of young female scholars in the STEM field.

Victoria, a biostatistician, has worked at Boehringer Ingelheim for six years leading their health informatics and analytics team. Using real world data, Victoria and her team develop medical content and information to foster efficient patient-centric clinical development programs.

In addition to her role as the director-at-large for HBA Fairfield County, Victoria is also on the Alumni Board at her all-girls high school where she is passionate about fostering women’s development in the STEM arena. Not only is she an advocate for young STEM candidates, but she also sees the development of women in the healthcare industry as an important part of her life. She has previously shared some of her insights on the HBA podcast with Julie Kelly (check out her episode and others) and is always happy to network with others in HBA.

Joining the NY Metro Chapter of HBA in 2017, she quickly jumped in and became an active volunteer on their marketing/communication team. Seeing the need for a local chapter, she was one of the leaders who contributed to the inaugural year of HBA Fairfield County and is presently director-at-large as well as director, marketing for our chapter. Victoria says, “The HBA is an incredible network providing opportunities to those interested in sharing information. The HBA fosters a different aspect in this healthcare industry with their supportive, positive community.”

Thank you, Victoria, for being such a great role-model and advocate for women in the healthcare industry.
