When HBA Austin was in the very middle of its transition from affiliate to chapter and volunteers were at a minimum to say the least – Kellsey Hibbs attended one meeting and then quickly chased down a volunteer opportunity.
With unknown processes and unique challenges that come from being a new chapter of a national organization – Kellsey has jumped headfirst into her role as membership chair. In this role, she has recruited several new members for the organization and has single-handedly worked to increase attendance at our first few events of the year – including hunting down potential members via her LinkedIn network. It seemed like every new face at our February happy hour came in looking for Kellsey.
Beyond her duties as chair of the membership committee, Kellsey has stepped up to take on the duties of other (currently vacant) positions within the membership and volunteer engagement space and has exceeded expectations in helping develop strategies to recruit and engage new members of HBA Austin.
This quarter, HBA Austin recognizes Kellsey Hibbs for her leadership at HBA Austin and looks forward to both her and our chapter’s continued success.
Kellsey comes to us from the Addison Group where she manages sales clients for the staffing firm. Email Kellsey.
