When and why you joined: I joined the HBA in Paris in 2009 to develop myself through learnings and networking. As well as contributing to something bigger than me.
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: A table where amazing individuals from diverse professional, cultural and personal backgrounds seat together to move the needle on gender equity and parity, while supporting each other.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for the HBA: Read and watch TV programs on history or ethnology (I am passionate about the way of life of my ancestors). Connect with my family and friends (all over the world) the privilege to know people from so many and different cultures enriches me a lot! And of course, taking time with my husband and my two daughters (they grow so fast and they impress me)
Your secret weapon to have energy: Close my eyes and thing about my childhood, specially my holidays with my grandparents in the south of Cameroon – I also like dancing

When and why you joined: I joined the HBA in Paris in 2012 to work on moving the tip on women positioning in the pharma industry.
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: A homey environment to learn, develop, share and grow.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for the HBA: Cook, eat, learn about wine, watch series, fix my computer, sing, travel (sounds so exotic nowadays...)
Your secret weapon to have energy: Listen to music and surround myself with positive people.

Job title, Company: Associate consultant, Insigniam
When and why you joined: I joined in August 2019 after moving to Paris and beginning my new job in July 2019. I thought it would be a great way to meet women in roles I admire in a new city, early on in my career - while also working toward gender parity, an issue I have always cared deeply about.
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: HBA Paris exemplifies the efficacy and brilliance of having a diverse team with unique backgrounds and experiences.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for the HBA: I like to be outside - riding horses or walking my dog, or reading.
Your secret weapon to have energy: Take an early morning walk with the dog, being outside with fresh air is the best start to the day.

Role within HBA Paris: Director at large. marketing and communications
Job title, Company: Founder of a communication consultancy
When and why you joined: I joined end of 2018, when I relaunched my consultancy after having negotiated the partnership between HBA and Sanofi and took the responsibility of marketing and communications end of 2019.
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: HBA Paris combines benevolence, diversity and goodwill with a great ambition: to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for the HBA: I am a true Parisian, I love theatres, operas and restaurants. This was a real change with the COVID-19 lockdown. Also, now that my four children are grown up, it is not working anymore to spend time with them.  
Your secret weapon to have energy: Invest Interact with people, start new projects, discover new horizons and learn new things.

When and why you joined: I joined the HBA in the US in 2012, then when I moved to Paris in 2017, a desire to network and stay connected led me to join the HBA Paris chapter.  
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: A collaborative of smart, professional women in healthcare with a passion to inspire and support other women to excel, succeed and grow.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for HBA: I love being active so on a sunny day, you will find me outside playing tennis or exploring the city, I am also an avid baker so I enjoy taking classes or creating new recipes - I recently made basil ice cream and it was divine.
Your secret weapon to have energy: When my energy is low, I usually go for a run, drink my ginger and turmeric tonic or walk my dog Max.

Job title, Company: Scientific writer, 4Clinics
When and why you joined: I joined the HBA in August 2017 and signed up for the HBA Europe mentoring program to develop my leadership skills and explore careers outside of academia. In September 2017, I joined the team developing the HBA Entrepreneurship affinity group, and in November 2017 as HBA Paris volunteer. I joined the HBA Paris chapter as a board member in early 2018.
One sentence to describe HBA Paris: A truly diverse group of bright, willing, and engaged people with a great sense of humour, working together to move the needle on gender parity in healthcare.
What are you doing when you do not work and volunteer for HBA: I love going on long walks, reading, painting, and these days, trying to write a cookbook.
Your secret weapon to have energy: Nothing recharges me more than a long walk and fresh air! Talking to my Mom, storytelling, being close to nature.
