2001 Britta Herlitz

Britta Herlitz named 2001 STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition, Previously, Volunteer of the Year)

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) named Britta Herlitz its 2001 Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition (STAR), formerly Volunteer of the Year award.

Each year, the HBA honors a STAR who stands apart as a truly exemplary role model who has demonstrated a long-term commitment to the HBA’s strategic goals of advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide.

Britta became an active member of the HBA in 1997, when she was selected to chair the HBA promotion committee. In this position, she worked to develop and produce all regular HBA seminar mailings as well as promotions for select special events - such as the Woman of the Year event.

In 1999, Britta became co-editor of the HBA Bulletin and in 2002 was promoted to editor. Under Britta's editorial direction, the HBA Bulletin has become an invaluable resource for members. She and her co-editor worked extremely hard to make the HBA Bulletin into a publication that is published six times a year and enjoyed by HBA's membership.
